MO Assn of RV Parks & Campgrounds

Things are coming along with readying for the grand opening of Beagle Bay RV Haven and Campground.

We have submitted our membership in the Missouri Assoc. of RV Parks and Campgrounds. Look for our listing in next year's directory.

Also, the website is up! Rick has been designing beautiful pages. There is still work to be done, but its shaping up.

The new business cards are in, and the first batch has been printed with a coupon on the back for a free night's stay. Hope you're lucky enough to snag one of those!

Bella ran errands with Rick today to prepare for their move to the campground.
The leaves are turning here in NW Missouri. We look forward to seeing the change of color in our park.

Re-purposing space in the main building.

Rick and I drew rough plans for space in the main building today. Of course, the beautifully appointed shower house rooms will be kept and maintained. Plans are under way to enclose the toilet stalls. My daughter will be happy!

The room just to the left of the ladies shower room will be converted from storage to a laundry facility with 2 washers, 2 dryers, a folding table and a couple of chairs for you to rest in while your laundry is finishing. We felt that adding this convenience was important for our guests.

Currently, the other half of the main building houses 1 guest room and a banquet facility. We plan to repurpose the banquet hall area as the office and a small convenience store area where guests can get soft drinks and snacks. Eventually, we hope to expand the store to include all those little things that we all forget when we set out from home on our vacation.

Recreation activities will gradually be added in the remainder of the banquet hall. A table where board games and cards can be played, an electronic dart board, air hockey (anyone interested?), a pool table maybe, a lounging area with recliner, sofa and t.v. We're still tossing around ideas of what to install there. Any suggestions?

You are invited to come out next summer and check out the changes. Our hope is to create a fun place where families can come to have fun and relax, fisherman can have a base camp, and enjoy the atmosphere in camp, and canoeists can come back and rest (and dry out) after a sunny day.

Don't forget to winterize your RV or camper if you haven't already!
God Bless!

A New Adventure

We have signed the contract and have a closing date of November 4th. Rick and Bella will then take up residence at the campground and be there to welcome you.

As you can see, Bella and Peaches are putting their heads together making plans for next summer at the Beagle Bay RV Haven and Campground.
