Patience is hard.

We are working on acquiring the campground so we can get started restoring it to its original glory. We hope you have more patience than us. This process sometimes seems as if it flows like winter molasses.

Changing Direction

This walking path leads you back to the fishing pond.
This is the front drive to get in and out.
Lots of oak and other trees. Very woodsey.

Wow! So much has happened. We aren't moving to Bennett Spring after all. That didn't work out. Instead we have found a wonderful park on I-44 between Springfield and Joplin, Missouri. Its got 120 full-service sites, a huge main building that has a game room, big office, big shower and restroom facilities and even an old diner, and a meeting room.

The grounds are wooded and there's a big pond. Folks can camp back by the pond or in the woods beyond. It's all so awesome! Wow!

The place is a little rough, but it's got so much potential. We're going to dig in and spruce it up so everyone will want to come there. They can swim in the big in-ground pool in the summer, or walk on the trails, or fish in the pond, or come to a music festival! It'll be awesome!
