We are in the midst of converting old, icky space into new, useable space. From the old restaurant in the main building, we have already made the guest room (last year) which has a nice bedroom with a sitting area. Now we're making the kitchen and serving area into a living room with room for a small dinette, a full bath and a new home kitchen. Together they will make a nice apartment.
Its so much fun to see the run-down, useless space here be transformed and go back to work supporting the campground!

Christmas is coming to Beagle Bay
A little at a time. I wanted to get the big wreath up in the front of the building before Thanksgiving. I'll be working at the hospital Mon, Tues & Wednesday of this week. Friday and Saturday when I was home, the wind was blowing hard enough to blow the bark off the trees. So, I was not going to ask Berlyn to climb the ladder and hang the wreath.
Today was the last chance! Fortunately, the wind quit. Unfortunately, the mist and haze blew in. Good sport that he is, Berlyn did it. Next week, more lights and decor.
